Beyoncé’s Whiskey with Family Roots

Beyoncé’s Whiskey with Family Roots

Music and alcohol have always shared a rhythm. Sometimes a bottle carries more than flavour, it carries history. Enter SirDavis, Beyoncé’s whisky rooted in family and crafted for modern drinkers.

Honouring a Legacy

SirDavis takes its name from Beyoncé’s great grandfather, Davis Hogue, a Prohibition era moonshiner who hid bottles in the hollow knots of cedar trees for friends and family to find. That story unlocked a deeper connection to whisky and inspired a tribute four generations on.

How It Is Made

Developed with Moët Hennessy and master distiller Dr Bill Lumsden, SirDavis brings together rye and malted barley and is finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled at 44% ABV for a rich yet approachable profile.

What It Tastes Like

Official vibe: deep copper colour, bright citrus and dried fruit on the nose, buttery toffee and warming spice on the palate, finishing with soft honey and hints of sultanas and cherries.

The Bottle Club team: sweeter and smoother than we expected for a celebrity whisky, not rough at all. We picked up a subtle hazelnut note that we loved, especially over a single cube.

Why It Matters

SirDavis bridges legacy and craft. It is a nod to a family story and an invitation to new whisky drinkers. Confident, modern, and built for sipping neat, over ice, or in simple cocktails.
